Vertigo and balance disorders: is there any improvement?
Vertigo and balance disorders: is there any improvement?
Apo Vertigo allows you to easily record your episodes of vertigo, but you may be wondering how Apo takes over these recordings?
📆 Visualize your episodes of vertigo / balance disorders on the calendar to understand their frequency and impact.
After you have finished recording your vertigo episode, it will appear in the ‘Calendar and Statistics’ section in the main menu of your app. In this section, you will have the ability to view all your recorded vertigo episodes over a given period: the default view is monthly, but you can change it at any time by tapping the calendar icon at the top right of your screen to display your recordings over the last 90 days, the past 6 months, or even the last 12 months. You can also identify the type of vertigo as well as its impact using a color-coded legend.
📍 Access all your recordings of vertigo / balance disorders in one place.
If you wish to obtain more information about your past vertigo episodes, you can find more detailed information about your recordings in the ‘Recording History’ section, still within the main menu of your app. You will have access to all the information you provided during your recording, and even better, you can modify them in case of any errors! Simply tap on the data you want to change, re-answer the question, and you’re all set! You will immediately see your new response reflected in the calendar or statistics for the selected period.
👉 Coming up next: statistics about your vertigo for you, and a report summarizing the progression of your vertigo / balance disorders for your doctor.
One of Apo’s promises is to help you gain clarity and relieve you of the task of synthesis. The goal of this enhancement is that once your vertigo / balance disorder episode is recorded, Apo takes care of the analytical and readable analysis of your recordings, making these statistics available for consultation within the mobile application.
The E-Patient Association has launched a fundraising campaign (a non-profit organization under the 1901 law, donations are tax-deductible) to support the development of this highly useful functional enhancement for gaining more clarity.
Apo will never replace the doctor and will always stand by the patient’s side to assist in providing accurate information and engaging in an informed discussion with their physician. The goal of this enhancement is to enable Apo to generate a doctor’s report in PDF format, which the patient can either print and bring to the consultation or directly send to their doctor if they have their email address. This doctor’s report is designed in collaboration with vertigo specialists and lists all the important tracking indicators between two vertigo consultations.
For this enhancement as well, the E-Patient Association relies on donations (a non-profit organization under the 1901 law, donations are tax-deductible) to fund the software development of this highly useful functional enhancement to facilitate patient-doctor collaboration.
We hope that these details are helpful to you and provide a clearer understanding of the purpose of recording your vertigo episodes.
